Product Overview

Breedon Industrial HRA is a hot rolled asphalt (HRA) which is a high stone content, poly modified binder mix.

It has been designed to minimise site downtime typically caused by the extended laying and curing times of concrete. Breedon Industrial HRA has a specially graded binder which resists degradation caused by fuel exposure, and the robust recipe resists surface abrasion and structure under heavy scuffing.

This asphalt is designed specifically for heavy duty industrial applications and is engineered to withstand point loading, making it ideal for environments with forklift traffic and heavy machinery or vehicle movements.

Why use Breedon Industrial HRA Asphalt

Speedy installation and fast accessibility
Install quicker than traditional concrete and get access sooner to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.

Enhanced resistance for longer life
When compared to standard asphalt mixes, Breedon Industrial HRA offer improved durability and resistance to scuffs - even under heavy traffic.

Exceptional strength and load-bearing capacity
Engineered for demanding environments with superior resistance to point loading, rutting, fretting and ravelling.

Reflective cracking resistance
Designed to resist reflective cracking, enhancing the surface's lifespan and reducing the need for costly repairs.

Applications

  • Trucks and lorry parks - Breedon Industrial HRA is designed to tolerate concentrated load from stationary or slow moving HGVs.
  • Fork lift operating areas - Breedon Industrial HRA was created to resist scuffing in areas where there is tight manoeuvring, turning or static loading.
  • Loading bays and distribution centres - Breedon Industrial HRA is designed to maintain surface integrity under stress.
  • Waste centres - Breedon Industrial HRA stands to heavy slow moving plant, and frequent scrapping and pushing of materials. It is extra durable to reduce surface break up.

Key Benefits

Faster install and access

Improved scuffing resistance
