Ideal for high stress locations such as a trunk roads, roundabouts and carparks, Breedon Fibretex is a perfect option for when durability and surface quality are critical. Enhanced with cellulose fibres, Breedon Fibretex was created as a more durable upgrade to traditional SMAs and thin surface course solutions within the UK.
Breedon Fibretex offers exceptional durability - with its resistance to fretting, ravelling and deformation increased compared with traditional SMA offerings. This in turn offers a smoother and safer driving surface with low noise and reduced water spray, and is achieved by using a denser grading than standard material.
Breedon Fibretex is offered in 6, 10 and 14mm nominal size aggregate and is able to be laid in differing thicknesses leading to low air voids and enhanced durability.

Breedon Fibretex is offered in 6mm, 10mm and 14mm aggregate, and compacted layer depths are 25-40mm, 30-50mm and 40-50mm respectively.
