Aglime is typically spread using a lime spreader or contractor and worked into the topsoil. Application frequency depends on soil type, rainfall, and cropping, but many fields benefit from treatment every 3–5 years.
A soil pH test will show if your land is too acidic. Most crops grow best in soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. If your pH is below this, applying aglime can improve soil conditions and plant performance.
