Product Overview

Breedon Titan™ combines a precisely designed blend of high‑performance binders, advanced chemical admixtures and hard-wearing aggregates to create an exceptionally tough and long‑lasting concrete.

The unique mix is formulated to deliver low permeability, high abrasion resistance and outstanding durability, making it the ideal concrete solution for demanding environments where failure isn’t an option.

Its enhanced resistance to wear and chemical attack makes it suitable for applications such as heavily trafficked industrial floors, waste management facilities, loading bays and other high‑stress environments. It’s ability to achieve high early strength also supports rapid construction programmes, helping reduce downtime and allowing sites to return to service faster.

Breedon Titan™ can be tailored to specific performance requirements. Our technical experts can adjust the mix design to support unique site conditions, exposure classes or operational demands, ensuring the final concrete solution delivers optimum strength and reliability.

Breedon Titan™ Technical Specification

Breedon Titan™ can be designed to project design parameters and performance requirements for any project.

  • Typically 24N/mm² at 24 hours
  • Typically 70-80N/mm² at 28 days (minimum 60N/mm²)
  • Rapid surface dry for early application of applied flooring systems (<75%rh at 7 – 14 days)
  • Three-fold increase in life span

Placing & Finishing: Breedon Titan™ is typically laid in excess of 100mm in depth and can be placed using a conventional skip, pump or direct placement methods. Full compaction will be achieved by the correct application of standard vibrating equipment. The use of a curing membrane is essential.

This concrete has an exceptionally low bleed rate tendency. The surface of the concrete must be protected against moisture loss during casting. Excessive drying rates should be avoided within the first 24 hours, and curing should begin immediately after the concrete has been placed and finished.

FAQs

Very high durability concrete, like Breedon Titan™, resists environmental damage such as corrosion, freeze-thaw cycles, chemical attack, and abrasion.

It's ideal for structures repeatedly exposed to harsh conditions where failure isn't an option.

High abrasion resistant concrete, such as Breedon Titan™, can significantly increase the lifespan of a structure by reducing wear, surface damage and deterioration caused by heavy use.

Its enhanced resistance to scraping, impact and constant traffic means the concrete stays structurally sound for much longer than standard mixes.

By minimising surface breakdown and limiting the need for repairs, it also lowers maintenance costs, reduces downtime and delivers a longer‑lasting, more reliable solution for demanding environments.

Yes. In safety‑critical structures such as bridges, tunnels, dams and high‑rise buildings, high‑durability concrete is essential.

With Breedon Titan's enhanced strength and resistance to environmental stress, it helps maintain structural integrity over time, reducing the risk of premature deterioration or failure.

Using a durable, long‑lasting mix provides greater safety, reliability and long‑term performance in the most demanding conditions.
