FAQs

Construction aggregates are materials used in a wide range of construction and building projects, such as making concrete or mortar, laying foundations and subbases, and landscaping and decorative purposes.

The best aggregate type for your project will be dependant on what you are doing. For example, you may use type one for creating a strong subbase, or sharp sand if you are laying block paving or screeding. You can use ballast for mixing concrete or use decorative stone for landscaping. If you aren’t sure, you can call our team who will be able to advise you.

We have a material calculator which you can use to calculate approximate tonnage. For more information please contact your local Breedon quarry.
