Graduate Opportunities

Our Graduate Training Programmes in GB and Ireland are designed to attract and develop people who will become our leaders of the future. Whether you are graduating, recently graduated or have spent a few years in work this is an opportunity designed to help you build the foundations for a lifelong career.

GB Graduate Training Programme

Our GT Programme in GB is a structured 12-month personal development programme, which aims to prepare you for a future management role within Breedon. Initially you’ll have a week-long business induction before embarking on 3 rotations spending approximately 3 months supporting projects in our different business divisions from quarrying to finance, engineering to logistics. This will give you ‘hands on’ experience and a broad grounding in all aspects of our business. Throughout this you will also be enrolled on business skills training, focusing on Presentation and Communication skills, Health & Safety and HR.

Managers and mentors will be on hand to help you get to grips with your new role. They’re a friendly bunch and will show you the ropes – there’s quite a lot to get your head around. 

You’ll be rewarded for your commitment with a competitive starting salary, 25 days of annual leave every year PLUS bank holidays. Our fantastic benefits also include, enrolment on our pension scheme and access to a selection of deals and discounts at your favourite online and high street stores.

At the end of the programme, we will work with you to understand your career expectations and will develop a tailored plan with identifiable career pathways. This will ensure you gain the relevant skills, knowledge and expertise to fulfil your potential as a future leader at Breedon.

The window for applications will open again in January 2022, with assessment centres anticipated to be held in March and April.
