Breedon Fibre is a proprietary thin surface course asphalt which is compliant with the specification for highway works (SHW) Clause 942. It is a cellulose fibre modified stone mastic asphalt that is available with high PSV options.

Breedon Fibre comprises of a cellulose fibre modified stone mastic asphalt (SMA). The material combines the natural interlocking of course aggregates to produce a durable and rut resistant product which is compliant with SHW Clause 942 - ideal for heavily trafficked and urban roads.
As well as hitting the criteria to comply with CL942, Breedon Fibre also holds a HAPAS Roads & Bridges certification and is a HAPAS approved Thin Surface Course.
Breedon Fibre has been used widely on the trunk road network across both England and Scotland, because of is workability and durability.
