Breedon Holdings Limited, whose trading history dates back to 1996 as the former Ennstone plc, was acquired by Breedon Aggregates Limited (formerly Marwyn Materials Limited) on 6 September 2010.  Breedon is a public company with ordinary shares traded on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), with a range of investors including a number of leading UK financial institutions which have recognised the opportunity to support the group's strategy to grow organically and through consolidation of the smaller end of the UK heavyside building materials sector. There are no other exchanges or trading platforms on which the Company has applied or agreed to have any of its securities admitted or traded.

Governance

The Directors recognise the value of strong corporate governance and the Company has therefore sought to comply, as far as it is appropriate to do so, with the Corporate Governance Code for Small and Mid-sized Quoted Companies Alliance (QCA) in 2013.  For the purposes of AIM Rule 26, with effect from 1 January 2019, the Company has adopted the QCA Corporate Governance Code published in 2018 (“the QCA Code”) as the recognised corporate governance code with which it will seek to comply.
