General Purpose Cement is a quality assured cement with independent third party certification and comes conveniently packed in weatherproof, tear-resistant package.

Specification: CEM II cement, based on Portland cement clinker conforming to BS EN 197.

Applications & Use: General Purpose Cement is for use in concrete, mortars, renders, screeds and grouts. Trial mixes are advised prior to application. General Purpose Cement is supplied in 25kg bags within the UK. It is essential that it is correctly specified and used. It should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from damp, frost, heat and excessive draught

Our White Portland Cement has been specifically chosen from its ability to produce a white or lighter coloured concrete, mortar or render. 

Applications & Use: Breedon White Portland Cement is perfect for architectural applications such as balconies, cornices, ornaments, paving stones and flags, sculptures, terrazzo finishes, road marking, kerbs and bollards, structural concrete, floor and wall tiles, precast units and swimming pools.

To obtain white or light coloured concrete, specially selected white or light coloured sand and stone aggregates are required. Coloured concretes and renders are achieved by adding pigments specifically designed for use with Portland cement and Portland cement products.

Breedon Hydrated Lime is a fine white calcium hydroxide powder to EN 459-1 CL 90-S which is made by the reaction of quicklime and water.

Applications & Use: Suitable for use in concrete, mortar, soil stabilisation and render. Trial mixes are advised prior to work starting.

Breedon Fast Set Cement is a Portland Cement containing calcium sulfo aluminate and special additives, developed to give quick setting and hardening characteristics. Breedon Fast Set Cement allows the worked area to be brought back to operation after only a few hours.

Applications & Use: Breedon Fast Set Cement is suitable for use in concrete, mortar, render and screed. Ideal for repair and maintenance applications; concrete paths/steps, repairing rendering and floor screeds, fixing fence posts, railings and manhole covers. For use where the increased rate of set and strength development are beneficial in both mortar and concrete

Rapid Set Post Mix secures posts quickly and accurately. It is pre-mixed and sets in approximately 10 minutes, improve your operation times and reducing the need to support the post for an extended period. It is available in showerproof, tear-resistant packaging within the UK.

Specifications: Rapid Set Post Mix is a kiln dried, pre-blended, factory produced, quick setting concrete which hardens in approximately 10 minutes after water addition, depending on ambient conditions.

Applications & Use: Rapid Set Post Mix is suitable for fixing all types of wooden, metal and concrete posts. It should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from damp, frost, heat and excessive draught. Must be used within 6 months of the packing date shown on the bag, which is in a week/year format.

Kiln Dried Sand is the easy way to achieve strong, secure paving. It is suitable for a variety of applications and can be brushed directly from the bag. It is available in showerproof, tear-resistant packaging within the UK.

Specification: Kiln Dried Sand is kiln dried, factory produced and is graded and controlled in accordance with BS 7533 – 3:2005. 

Applications & Use: Kiln Dried Sand is suitable as a jointing or grouting sand for block paving projects, the laying and bedding in of paving slabs and as a dried building sand. It should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from damp, frost, heat and excessive draught. Each bag will cover approximately 5m2 of standard block paving. We recommend that Kiln Dried Sand is not used in wet or damp conditions.

C40 High Strength Concrete (40N) is a pre-mixed, strong and hardwearing concrete. Manufactured from cement, 10mm coarse aggregate and specially selected sand, it is formulated for exceptional performance where higher guaranteed strength is required.

Specification: Conforms to BS 8500, for a CEM III/A+SR with additional attributes that enhance sulphate resistance.

Applications & Use: C40 High Strength Concrete is ideal for a wide variety of building projects ranging from manholes, ironworks and foundations to footing lampposts and road signs or any other work requiring a concrete with high compressive strength.

• One bag of C40 High Strength Concrete mixed with 2.5litres of water will produce approximately 0.01m3 of concrete and cover 0.13m3 at 75mm thick / 0.10m3 at 100mm thick.
• One bag of C40 High Strength Concrete mixed with 2litres of water will produce approximately 0.01m3 of concrete and cover 0.10m3 at 75mm thick / 0.08m3 at 100mm thick.

Our General Purpose Masonry Mortar is kiln dried, pre-blended, factory produced 1:6 cement:sand mortar and is easy to use and will stand the test of time. It is available in showerproof, tear-resistant packaging within the UK.

Specifications: Complies with BS EN 998-2.

Applications & Use: General Purpose Masonry Mortar is a flexible product, ideal for a wide variety of applications including brick laying, repointing, laying blocks, patio, paving slabs as well as general masonry repairs. It should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from damp, frost, heat and excessive draught.

One bag of General Purpose Masonry Mortar will give you approximately 12 litres of fresh mortar which should be enough to lay 20 standard house bricks or 12 x 100mm blocks laid with a uniform 10mm joint

One bag of General Purpose Concrete will give you approximately 0.01m3 of fresh material when mixed using 2.0 to 2.5 litres of clean water
