Breedon Cititex is a proprietary SMA mix that has been designed as a high performance surface course, engineered for use in heavy traffic situations. It combines high stone content with rich binder to create a strong and flexible surface course which withstands deformation and rutting under extreme use.
Breedon Cititex offers a consistent surface course with reduced road noise and good skid resistance. Compared with standard SMA, it has enhanced workability and reduced life maintenance costs. As a versatile and high performance asphalt, it can be used in a variety of demanding environments including urban roads and city streets, highways and trunk roads as well as industrial estates.
