Designed as a high-performance alternative to standard thin surface course materials, Breedon PolyPave™ uses advanced polymer-modified technology to deliver enhanced resistance to rutting, deformation and surface wear.
Suitable for major highways, trunk roads and heavily trafficked urban networks, Breedon PolyPave™ offers enhanced workability and consistent compaction, for easier installation across both new construction and maintenance projects. Its advanced polymer-modified formulation provides improves durability and flexibility, delivering long-lasting performance in challenging applications such as tramline overlays, junctions and exposed coastal environments.
For high-stress locations, Breedon PolyPave+™ combines polymer-modified bitumen with cellulose fibres to deliver even greater resistance to deformation as well increased flexibility and enhanced durability.

Breedon PolyPave™ is formulated with a grading similar to German Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) specifications and contains higher binder levels than standard thin surface course materials. This combination creates a dense, low-air-void asphalt structure that delivers exceptional resistance to rutting, deformation and surface wear, helping maintain long-term performance in heavily trafficked and high-stress environments.
Breedon PolyPave™ is produced using polymer-modified bitumen (PMB) to provide enhanced durability, workability and resistance to wear in a wide range of highway and urban surfacing applications.
Breedon PolyPave+™ contains the same polymer-modified technology, with the addition of cellulose fibres to provide extra reinforcement. This makes it particularly well suited to locations that experience higher levels of stress or traffic loading, where additional durability and long-term performance may be beneficial.
