The volume of concrete required will also depend on factors such as uneven ground conditions, shape and complexity of the area, if you need to use a concrete pump to place, and settlement and compaction.

Yes, we can design fully bespoke concrete mixes tailored to the technical, structural, environmental and sustainability needs of your project.
All of our Performance Concretes can be customised to specific engineer specifications and we'll work with you to design, produce and deliver every mix.
The placement methods of our Performance Concretes will depend on the mix and your application. There are a variety of concrete placing methods that can be used, including pump, skip, directly off the chute or by tremie pipe.
If you're working in access restricted environments or have specific requirements, please contact the team who will be happy to support in finding a suitable solution.
Our ready-mix concrete is normally delivered in an 8-wheeler mixer truck that typically carries 7.5m3 of concrete and has a gross weight of 32t. For hard-to-access areas or smaller loads our Breedon Minimix service may be suitable.
