Breedon's Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire was the location for Global Cement's 2nd Global CemProcess industry tour, following the two-day conference in London. 

Delegates were given an introductory presentation and site safety induction before splitting into two groups for the plant tour.

The tour included the cement manufacturing plant, including the laboratory and control room and also the limestone quarry.

This is the first time that Hope Cement Works has hosted the Global CemProcess field trip. Tom Howard, Senior Process Engineer, said: "The tour was very positive and we received a number of engaging questions from the two groups."
