ENATS 97-1. Backfill materials for cable installations

We produce a range of selected Sand, Gravel/Sand and Cement bound Sand Backfills conforming to ENA Technical Specification 97-1.

Our backfill materials are intended for open trench applications, where the cable is either directly buried in the backfill or installed in ducts laid in the backfill. The backfills are tested to meet ENATS 97-1 specification to demonstrate they are load bearing, resist settlement, erosion, impact and frost heave.

These products are available throughout the UK.
