Breedon Group plc has donated more than 15 tonnes of material to four gardens at this month's RHS Flower Show at Sandringham House, supporting designs focused on accessibility, biodiversity and wildlife habitats.
The essential materials provider is supplying its premium Breedon Golden Amber self-binding gravel – the only material of its kind to hold a Royal Warrant – alongside Type 1 MOT aggregate for use as a sub-base.
Breedon's Golden Amber Gravel will help bring the four distinctive gardens to life throughout the five-day show:
● Mindful Meadows - designed by Constructing Minds with Nature CIC
● RNIB Talking Books Garden - designed by Paul Hervey-Brookes
● The RHS Pollywiggle Garden - designed by Joe and Laura Carey
● Crafted by Nature - designed Laura Strand and Sam Stark-Kemp
The gardens have already received recognition from RHS judges, with the RNIB Talking Books Garden awarded a gold medal in the Show Garden category and Mindful Meadowlands achieving a bronze in the Grow Forward Garden category.
The gardens span a range of themes, from celebrating 90 years of RNIB’s Talking Books service and educating communities on flood mitigation to promoting wetland habitats that support amphibian life.
Laura McGlynn - Commercial Manager, Breedon Special Aggregates said: “We’re so proud to see our material playing such a pivotal role in four gardens at this year’s show at Sandringham House.
“Each of the gardens tells a unique story, and we’re delighted to support the designers bringing them to life. It’s been great to see our Breedon Golden Amber Gravel used in diff erent ways across the spaces, with its natural appearance and accessibility making it well suited for a range of designs.”
